Does Marshawn Lynch have autism?

Marshawn Lynch is a running back for the Seattle Seahawks football team.  He is known for eating Skittles candies during games, a habit which led to an official deal with the Mars candy company.  He is also known for his reluctance to talk to reporters.  In 2013, he was fined $50,000 by the National Football League for refusing to speak to members of the press.  During interviews, he comes across as stiff and uncomfortable, and is likely to give short, curt answers.  This could be a sign of autism, but there is no confirmation that he is on the autism spectrum.

Ross Lynch is an American actor, singer, dancer, and musician best known for his role as Austin Moon on the Disney channel series Austin & Ally.  He is also one of the founding members of the band R5, along with his siblings.  Derek and Julianne Hough, from Dancing with the Stars are his cousins.  He was raised in Littleton, Colorado, and was home-schooled from 4th grade.  He plays piano, drums and rhythm guitar.  He also played the lead role in the Disney Original Movie Teen Beach Movie.  He is a multi-talented young man, but there is no evidence that he has autism.

Does Arnie Grape have autism?

Arnie Grape is a fictional character from the movie and book titled What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?  Arnie is a developmentally disabled teen played expertly by actor Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic),  who was nominated for an Oscar for his performance.  Arnie’s diagnosis is never specified, but he has many qualities consistent with autism, including self-stimulatory movements, tics, and an obsession with the town’s water tower, which he likes to run off and climb when nobody’s looking.  He develops a fear of water after his caregiver leaves him in the bathtub, not realizing he is unable to get out and dry himself off.  It is likely that Arnie Grape has autism.

Does Mark Zuckerberg have autism?

Mark Zuckerberg is a computer programmer who founded the popular website Facebook.  Many individuals who have worked with him report that he has several characteristics of Asperger’s Syndrome, including social awkwardness, repetitive behaviors, and lack of empathy.  Zuckerberg’s girlfriend, Priscilla Chen, even negotiated a deal with him where he was required to spend 100 minutes of alone time with her per week before she would consider moving to California to be near him.  It is also theorized that Zuckerberg’s lack of empathy led him to be dangerously cavalier with the privacy settings on Facebook, allowing advertisers to access user’s private information.  It is likely that he has an autism spectrum disorder.

Mac Miller is an American rapper whose debut album, Blue Slide Park, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in 2011.  His real name is Malcolm James McCormick.  He is a self-taught musician who plays piano, guitar, drums and bass.  He wanted to be a singer-songwriter until age 14,when he discovered rap.  He says, “I used to be into sports, go to all the high-school parties.  But once I found out hip-hop is almost like a job, that’s all I did.”  It is not likely that Mac Miller has autism.

Jason “EMP/Mew2King” Zimmerman, is an American smasher who is one of the best Super Smash Brothers players in competitive tournaments.  He has been open about his Asperger’s diagnosis, saying, “I have Asperger’s they say, but I know that I am smart.”  His nickname among fellow tournament player is The Robot, due to his chain grabbing, camping and comboing skills, along with his technical and intelligent play style.  Mew2King is an example of an individual with Asperger’s Syndrome who turned an obsession into a career.

Melanie Sykes is an English television presenter and model best known for co-hosting Today with Des and Mel.  She has openly discussed her son, Valentino’s autism diagnosis in the hopes of raising awareness and helping other parents identify the early signs of autism.  She speaks about his tendency to become overloaded in crowded, noisy settings, and how other people can be judgmental.  She also says that there is a positive side to autism, and that Tino “makes me laugh on a daily basis.”  She also says that he has no friends, but “he couldn’t give a monkey’s.”

Is Metta World Peace autistic?

Metta World Peace is a professional basketball player who most recently played for the New York Knicks.  He legally changed his name from Ron Artest to Metta World Peace in 2011.  He is known for his aggressive playing and his outspoken, and often outrageous behavior.  He has faced disciplinary action several times for vandalism and confrontational behavior, and once came to practice wearing only a bathrobe.  When asked about his name change, he said, “Changing my name was meant to inspire and bring youth together all around the world.”  There is no evidence that he is on the autism spectrum.

Michael Phelps is an Olympic swimmer from the United States who has the distinction of being the most decorated Olympian of all time, with 22 medals.  He was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in sixth grade, and began swimming as an outlet for his excess energy.  In 2008, he became an honorary board member of Pathfinders for Autism, an organization that helps families raising children with autism find appropriate resources.  While many argue that ADHD could be on the lower level of the autism spectrum, there is no confirmation that Michael Phelps has autism.

Is Michelle Chamuel autistic?

Michelle Chamuel is an American singer and songwriter who was the runner-up on the fourth season of NBC’s The Voice.  There have been rumors she may be on the autism spectrum, due to her refusal to glam up her look during her stint on The Voice.  She says, “. . .my preferences. . .require a little more push against the norm.  I didn’t wear high heels.  I tried to apply the least amount of make-up possible.”  While she has not confirmed whether or not she is on the autism spectrum, she has been open about her sexual identity as a lesbian.

Michael Van Gerwen is a Dutch professional darts player who was the youngest player to ever win the World Masters.  He started playing darts at age 13, and has been described as a darts prodigy.  He has never publicly acknowledged having an autism spectrum disorder, but he does appear to have some traits that are apparent in videos and interviews.  He can often be seen rocking back and forth, and there are photo galleries of his exaggerated facial expressions on the internet.

While searching on Google, I came across with term, “Is Michael Van Gerwen a retard?” Why people misunderstand between autistic and retarded?It’s very offensive to use “R” word. Those terms are not same. Please educate as many people as you can.

Mia Talerico is a 5 year-old actress who plays Charlotte “Charlie” Duncan on the Disney Channels popular show Good Luck Charlie.  She was only 11 months old when her stint on the show began.  She was hired when Disney executives were unable to find twins to play the role.  She made headlines recently when she was the target of death threats posted to her Instagram  account.  Good Luck Charlie had recently aired an episode that featured a lesbian couple, but authorities can’t confirm that the death threats are related.  There is no evidence that Mia Talerico is autistic.

Is Michael Scott autistic?

Michael Scott is a fictional character portrayed by Steve Carrell on the NBC television series The Office.  He is the regional manager of paper company Dunder-Mifflin.  There has been speculation that he may be on the autism spectrum, due to his idiosyncratic way of managing his staff,  his poor social skills, and his lack of empathy.  Many of the laughs on the show are due to misunderstandings caused by Michael’s inability to see situations from another’s point of view.  He also has a strong need to be in control.  It is possible that Michael Scott is on the autism spectrum.

Michael Buble is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and actor who has won four Grammy awards and several Juno awards.  His vocal talent was apparent from a young age, and he says that he’s wanted to be a singer since he was two years old.  He’s also an avid hockey fan, and dreamed of playing professionally at one point, but felt he wasn’t good enough.  He is married to Luisana Lupito, and they have one son, Noah.  there is no evidence that Michael Buble is on the autism spectrum.

Michael Cera is a Canadian actor known for playing nerdy, sensitive characters in movies such as Juno and Superbad.  He says that he became interested in acting when he was home sick with chicken pox at the age of three.  He watched the movie Ghostbusters over and over until he’d memorized all the dialogue.  He has attempted to move away from his nice-guy stereotype in his more recent films, including Magic Magic and This is the End.  Memorizing lines from movies can be an autistic trait, and he often plays characters who are socially awkward, but there is no confirmation that Michael Cera is autistic.

Michael Gove is a British politician who is the Secretary of State for Education and the member of Parliament for Surrey Heath.  His educational policies have proven to be unpopular among teachers and parents.  Members of the National Association of Head Teachers claim he’s created a climate of fear, bullying, and intimidation and passed a vote of no confidence regarding his policies. He also received votes of no confidence from the Association of Teachers and Lecturers, the National Union of Teachers, and the NASUWT.  There is no confirmation that he is on the autism spectrum.

Is Michael Jordan autistic?

Michael Jordan is an American basketball player who has been called “the greatest basketball player of all time.”  He helped the Chicago Bulls win consecutive championships from 1991-1993, and earned the nickname “Air Jordan.”  He briefly retired from basketball to pursue a baseball career, but returned to the Bulls in 1995, scoring another “three-peat” in 1996, 1997, and 1998.  He has also been featured in many product endorsements, including NIke, Hanes, and Wheaties.  He was reportedly cut from his high school basketball team, but went on to become one of the greatest players of all time.  It is confirmed that he is not on the autism spectrum.

Michael Myers is a fictional character who stars in the Halloween series of slasher movies.  He was institutionalized at the age of 6 after stabbing his older sister, Judith, to death.  He claimed that a voice in his head told him to hurt people.  His psychiatrist, Dr. Sam Loomis, said, “Michael Myers is the most dangerous patient I have ever observed. He’s covering up.  The catatonia is a conscious act.”  He eventually escapes from the sanitarium and stalks teenagers, including his sister, Laurie.  His symptoms are more consistent with schizophrenia or psychopathy than autism.

Michael Oher is an American football player who plays offensive tackle for the Tennessee Titans.  He was born to a crack-addicted, alcoholic mother, and his childhood alternated between foster homes and homelessness.  He didn’t speak much and had limited social skills.  Leah Anne Touhy took him in when she realized he was homeless.  Under her care, he gradually caught up to his peers academically and socially, and discovered his innate talent for football.  The movie The Blind Side chronicles his story.  There is no confirmation that he is on the autism spectrum.

Michael Palin is an English actor, comedian, writer, and television presenter best known for being a member of the comedy troupe Monty Python.  He was a shy child who suffered from a pronounced stutter, which he used in his hilarious performance in the movie A Fish Called Wanda.  He became interested in actin g after playing Martha Cratchit in his school’s production of A Christmas Carol.  He has also produced several travel documentaries for the BBC.  There is no evidence that Michael Palin is on the autism spectrum.
